Welcome to Well Oiled Dishes Food Blog. Cooking has always been a passion of mine, along with eating.

But one of the greatest joys in my life is sharing those meals with my family and friends. Whether it’s a home cooked meal or a nice dinner out.

This food blog is about all that and taking a look at the healthy side of things also. That is taking fresh fruit, veggies and proteins to make a mouth watering meal.   The focus will be on the many different cuisines that I personally have experienced in my travels through the U.S..  Many of them right out my back door.

I will recreate many of these  recipes along with pictures and at times videos to help you make these meals for your family and friends.
